Alexander is one of the top trumpeters/bandleaders from Cuba. He formed a top group with all the premier musicians in Havana so it is safe to say these are some of the best musicians in the world today. A mix of timba son and jazz, Havana D' Primera is currently packing all the clubs and arenas in Havana and festivals in Europe. This is especially refreshing because they have broken attendance records in a country where the plastic reggaeton sound has ruled in the last few years but the sound of this group has the entire country dancing to a refreshing new beat. The entire CD was written/arranged and performed with Alexander on vocals.
