Haji Abass and Cemetery Hill: Baraki Barak District, Logar Province, Afghanistan 2009 (Afghanistan War Series Book 13)

In April 2008, the Second and Third Platoons, B Company, 1/32 10th Mountain Division are attached to 3/71 CAV in Logar Province, Afghanistan. Co-located with ANP (Afghan National Police) in Baraki Barak District, the Third Platoon is tasked with over-watching Cemetery Hill, the highest position in the middle of the valley. When an OP (Observation Post) spies an enemy mortar in position to attack the Third Platoon, the Second Platoon is ordered out as QRF (Quick Reaction Force) to eliminate the enemy threat. The next 14 hours result in chaos and combat for both platoons.
