The Hammaka Portable Tripod is the ultimate hammock chair accessory, allowing you to hang your chair wherever and whenever you'd like. The Tripod is constructed of sturdy, lightweight aluminum, which maximizes its durability and ease of transport. It weighs less than nine pounds and is able to hold weight up to 350 pounds. When folded, the Tripod is 4 feet long and 11 inches in diameter. When fully extended, the height is eight feet and the base is 5 feet between legs. The Hammaka Tripod can turn your Hammaka chair into your constant traveling companion, letting you Climb In and Hang Out anywhere, anytime.

The design of the stand is such that the spreader bar of any chair goes behind the front two legs and in front of the one back leg of the stand. For this reason and by design it wonâ€™t allow for a user to swing in the stand without the spreader bars hitting the legs. It allows for a gentle sway from the user but is not intended to be used as a swing set or childrenâ€™s swing.

The top locking mechanism of the stand is solid and secure, and the nylon leg straps maintain the maximum opening of the stand for safety. Both items need to be used and not ignored. Also the push pins securely hold the adjustable legs to the desired height as long as they are engaged in the adjustment holes. If a user fails to engage the pins in the holes properly the stand will not maintain its desired heights.
