Description

  • 20-Inch Stainless Steel Probe: Designed to reach deep into square and round hay bales. The long probe helps you test moisture levels inside the bale for alfalfa, mixed hay, making it a basic tool for farm checks before storage
  • Moisture & Temperature Tester: This meter provides two readings at once. It measures hay moisture from 8% to 45% and temperature from 32°F to 210°F. A straightforward tool to check your bales before putting them in the barn or shed
  • Backlit LCD & Auto-Shutoff: Features a clear screen with a backlight so you can read numbers in dark barns or early mornings. The buttons are easy to press, and the device will turn off automatically after 3 minutes to save battery power
  • Comes with Calibration Clip: Includes a small testing clip (reference value 24.7% ±1.5%) to verify the tester is working properly before you start. You can easily do a quick accuracy check on your truck tailgate or workbench
  • Portable Carry Bag Included: The package comes with the hay moisture meter, a calibration clip, and a storage bag to keep the tool clean in your tractor cab or tool room. (Please note: requires 1x 9V battery to operate, which is NOT included)
