In 1986 Haydels introduced the first tube type grunt calls for Whitetail deer; basing the sound on recordings of live deer by Wildlife Biologist Larry Richardson
To further achieve accuracy the DG-87 was then matched to Sonograms of live deer to produce the best deer calls for Whitetail Deer; Hunters using the DG-87 throughout the United States and Canada have proclaimed outstanding results
This buck call is easy to use and can replicate most calls made by bucks like the Tending Grunt and Coaxing Grunt
