- Simple Operation: Easily use the Headset Buddy Mic-Line Dynamic by plugging it into your device's headset jack. Then, connect your microphone to the Mic-Line Dynamic (Coral). The device will automatically detect the external microphone connection, deactivating its internal mic. This enables seamless recording using the connected external microphone.

Male 3.5mm TRRS to Female 3.5mm Microphone Jack
How it Works: Plug the adapter into the iPhone/smartphone (or other device) headset jack and then plug your microphone into the adapter. The iPhone will recognize that an external mic is connected and turn its internal mic off allowing you to record using the external microphone. This adapter works with all audio/video recording apps and other functions just as the internal mic would.
PLEASE NOTE: This adapter is for mics that have batteries. Please see our 01-iPhone-Mic-ECM adapter for PC mics or mics without batteries. Also, sound input for smartphone connections is mono. You are able to input stereo sound; however, only one side of the microphone will work.
