The light's sensor detects motion up to 70 feet (sensitivity can be adjusted), while its pulse-count technology helps prevent false triggering from wind and rain, so only substantial motion is detected, like people and animals. Set the timer to indicate how long the lights should stay on after motion stops, or manually turn the lights on or off at any time with the flip of an indoor switch. In addition to providing maximum flood-light illumination with the motion sensor, the security light can also be used for low-level accent lighting thanks to its DualBrite technology. An integrated timer makes it easy to program the light to go on for three or six hours--or from dusk until dawn. Other highlights include a convenient daytime test mode, a photocell sensor that automatically deactivates the unit during daylight hours, and heavy-duty die-cast metal construction for long-lasting performance from one season to the next. The motion-activated security light uses two 120-watt halogen bulbs and measures approximately 8-2/5 inches long by 9-4/5 inches wide by 5-3/5 inches tall and carries a 2 -year limited warranty.
