Hitachi’s new 18V battery charger (UC18YSL3) is the newest addition to Hitachi’s 18V li-ion slide line-up. This charger has the ability to charge an 18V 6.0Ah battery in just 38 minutes! The UC18YSL3 is also equipped with a USB terminal on the back that is capable of charging mobile devices. In fact, this rapid charger can charge a USB device even if the charger itself is not plugged into a wall outlet. All you need is a power tool battery with some juice inserted in the charger and the USB port will be functional! The UC18YSL3 incorporates a new color scheme with the charging indicator lights to provide better clarification of the battery charging status. This new charger is lightweight at only 1.28 lbs. Plus, it is backed by Hitachi’s 1-year charger warranty.
