Post-war carrier-capable fighter and Grumman's last piston-engined fighting cat - initial production -1B sub variant armed with 4 wing-mounted 20mm cannons. Kit features engraved panel lines, well appointed cockpit, full twin-row P&W R-2800 radial engine with motor mounts and firewall, well detailed undercarriage and wheel wells, your choice of folded or extended wings (cutting required for folded wing configuration), 2-piece canopy, wing with cannon blisters and external stores (underwing bombs (x2), rockets (x4), and centerline drop tank with sway braces). Decals for 2 aircraft: Royal Thai Air Force No 234 of the 1st Fighter Bomber Wing, early 1960 and French Armee de l'Air No 5167 of GC 1/22 Savitange, January 1954 - includes instrument panel markings and stencil data.
