- Compatibility: Precision-engineered for 1911 Government, Commander, and Clone models—including the Colt Gold Cup, Combat Commander, 1991 A1, Delta Elite, and ACP Series 80/Mark IV—these grips also fit full-size frames from Springfield Armory, Norinco, and Kimber (Classic/Pro Carry), though minor material relief may be required to ensure full travel for extended slide releases, magazine catches, or ambidextrous safety levers.
- Specific Model Notes: These grips are specifically designed for full-size frames and will NOT fit compact or sub-compact models such as the Colt Officers, Springfield Compact, Colt 1991 Compact, Mustang .380, or Colt Pony, nor are they compatible with the SIG 1911-22, Taurus 1911, Auto Ordnance, or Llama .45 due to proprietary frame dimensions and screw spacing.
- Durable OverMolded Design: Made from premium rubber for long-lasting comfort and reliability. Can be tight on some frames. It is recommended to heat the grip up before installation on the tight fitting frames to make stretching the finger grooves around the front strap easier.

The finger grooves on the front of the grip are an affordable alternative to front strap checkering and are preferred by many competition shooters for rapid, accurate shooting. The material is solvent and oil resistant which means it will not deteriorate or dissolve due to cleaning your firearm.
