- Necessary for use with the Hornady LNL OAL Gauge
Hornady specially prepares these cases by threading the case head and over sizing the neck to accept the same bullet you intend to load. This is critical, as the Lock N Load gauge dimensions obtained will be accurate to .001" Results such as this cannot be attained with competitive products, which use a simulated bullet with an arbitrary shape
