Featuring one of our most popular horns, the Shocker XL Horns, The Conductor's Special 228H is great for tight install spaces, with the air source unit taking up just over a cubic foot of space. With the Conductor's Special 228H having a slightly bigger tank then the 127H, it does have give you a little bit more air! The MVP of our Conductor's Special 228H is definitely our Shocker XL Horns. Made of a ridiculously strong fiberglass reinforced ABS, the Shocker XL horns are very light. Unlike other horns, they don't require a big metal manifold, making them the easiest horns to install when space is limited. Just because they're not huge and metal doesn't mean they don't have a huge sound though. The Shocker XL Horns are the loudest horns on the market, coming in just under the real locomotive horns which are the Nathan Airchime Horns. We paired our Shocker XL Horns with the HornBlasters 145 PSI 2 Gallon Air Source Unit. With its compact size, this system is great for installing in places such as toolboxes or inside the truck behind the back seat. The 2-gallon tank gives you roughly about 4-6 seconds of blast time and the Viair 280C compressor recharges from 90-120 PSI in only 30 seconds. ****(Note: Tank mounted air compressors are not fully sealed. For this reason, the manufacturer recommends the tank/compressor system be mounted in the upright position in an enclosed space away from moisture, dirt, debris, etc...)
