Howells: Collegium Regale

In spite of being a relative outsider, Herbert Howells provided the church with one of its greatest choral masterpieces. The Collegium Regale is truly one of the glories of the Anglican repertoire. Stephen Layton and his award-winning Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge recorded the 'Coll Reg' in the glorious acoustic of Coventry Cathedral. The program also features a selection of other choral works including two the composer's Psalm settings.
