SuperSnap is the most sensitive ATP surface test in Hygiena's portfolio of all-in-one devices. Designed to work with all Hygiena luminometers, SuperSnap detects extremely low levels of ATP so it can be used as an allergen cross-contamination prevention tool or when dealing with harsh samples. By incorporating SuperSnap into a prevention program, risks and issues are recognized in real time and immediate corrective actions can be implemented before product change-overs. ATP or adenosine triposphate is a molecule that is found in all living cells or around them. An ATP Test is a test that detects and measures ATP on surfaces. If a swab sample containing ATP comes into contact with a Luciferase reagent, it will produce light. The amount of light as measured by a luminometer is in direct proportion to the amount of living microorganisms in that sample. What Sets SuperSnap Apart Extremely sensitive - SuperSnap is able to detect ATP at levels as low as 1ppm (part per million). Highly resistant to strong sanitizers and harsh environments - even if a work surface has been thoroughly cleaned with strong disinfecting chemicals, the bioluminescence reaction is not compromised and if any microorganism is left at all, SuperSnap will detect it. Long shelf life - 15 months Temperature tolerance - while it is recommended that SuperSnap be stored at temperatures between 2-8Â°C, it can tolerate room temperatures <25Â°C for up to 4 weeks Pre-moistened swabs - this helps the swab tip break through bio-film that may have formed on the surface to be tested, enabling sufficient sample collection Luminometer compatibility - will work with EnSURE, SystemSURE Plus.
