- Intertape 530 Utility-Grade Flatback Packaging Tape is a pressure-sensitive, moisture-resistant Kraft flatback tape coated with an aggressive blend natural/synthetic rubber adhesive designed to offer a positive, attractive seal and excellent adhesion to minimize carton sealing failures and prevent pilferage.
- Performs well under a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions. IPG 530 is designed for use in applications where reduced weight can provide packaging material savings.
- Complies with Postal Regulation for Uninsured Packages. Application uses include carton sealing, packaging, silk screening, picture framing, beaming/leasing, splicing, and tabbing.
- The product is not repulpable.Carrier/Backing: kraft, flatback paper. Adhesive: natural/synthetic rubber.
- Thickness: 7.2 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 60 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 45 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Elongation: 8%. Core: 3-inch diameter.
