  • Powerful Features: Use the Iridesc hydrosensor II to detect moisture in wet carpet and carpet cushion. When moisture is present in a material, the light on the HydroSensor will flash and the transducer will beep. This will occur at a varying rate (slower or faster flash and beep) depending on the amount of moisture present
  • What Customers Love: The hydrosensor II has a collapsible shaft that extends securely then can be collapsed for compact storage. A 31-inch reach saves your back from the aches and pains that often come with shorter moisture probes. Sensitive Nickel-plated points alert you to moisture content above 17 percent
  • Additional Functions: The Iridesc hydroSensor II can be used to detect the presence of pet urine contamination on carpets and furniture. This is because urine salts attract and hold enough moisture to be detected. A black-light is recommended to confirm that urine is present
  • Battery-Operated: This unit runs on one general purpose 9-volt DC battery. To extend battery life when not in use, make sure the probe tips are not in contact with any material that can conduct electricity such as metal, damp cloth, carpet, water, cork, etc
  • Designed for Durability: The Iridesc hydroSensor II is designed to withstand heavy long-term use by restoration contractors and other carpet cleaning professionals. To ensure longevity, included probe points are nickel-plated and retractable when not in use. Stainless steel construction helps the moisture probe stand up to years of use
