Stavros George Zolnerovich thinks his family has some serious screws loose. They keep talking about Russian fairy tale characters and spooks as if they are real. Everyone knows that Baba Yaga, Koschai the Deathless and Chernobog do not exist. Steve also thinks his sister, Catherine, needs to stop pretending that Ivan the cat is sending text messages. College is hard, working two jobs is harder, and Steve's car needs a new heater as of three weeks ago.



When those fairy tales kidnap Steve and Ivan, Peter and Catherine Zolnerovich must call on all their knowledge, strength, and a few old debts in order to save their brother. But will it be enough?
