Jack's Magic's The Pink Stuff provides pool owners with a powerful stain remover that effectively prevents the formation of metal and mineral staining of pool surfaces, which look horrible and can eventually cause damage if left untreated. The Pink Stuff's formula is designed to prevent stains in new pools, and help remove them in older ones in combination with traditional stain removing procedures, restoring your pool to like-new condition. Product Dosage Initial Dose: 32 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water. Routine Maintenance: 6-8 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water per week. Directions Maintenance/Prevention: Maintenance levels for The Pink Stuff are 10-12 ppm. To determine the amount of The Pink Stuff to add to achieve this level, have pool water tested weekly with a Jack's Magic Sequest Test kit. If a Sequest Test is not available, an estimated dosage of 6-8 oz. of The Pink Stuff per 10,000 gallons of pool water may be added on a weekly basis. Please keep in mind that it is strictly an estimate and the only way to accurately determine the appropriate dosage is to have it tested. Stain Removal: In certain instances, The Pink Stuff can be used to reduce the severity of a stain over time. In order to determine the appropriate method of removing existing stains use a Jack's Magic Stain ID Kit.
