- HDMI ARC Audio Extraction – Please note that this unit does not support eARC. HDMI ARC audio can only be extracted from the extractors SPDIF / Optical port, and not via RCA or HDMI ports
- 4K 60Hz Resolution w/ Audio Extraction – Send video up to 4K 60Hz resolution from your source device to a while, and extract audio from the incoming signal to send it to an external sound system via SPDIF Optical and/or RCA. - Audio EDID Settings – Select between three different EDID settings (TV/Pass, 2Ch, 5Ch) to optimize your extractor and AV system so that the correct audio format is embedded based on your application
- Digital Audio Format Support – Supports PCM stereo audio (via RCA and SPDIF Optical) and DTS / Dolby Digital 5.1 (via SPDIF Optical). Please note that this extractor does not support Dolby Digital Plus

However, this convenience often takes away the flexibility to send the audio signal to external speakers, a soundbar, or wireless headphone adapters. Now, with JTD4KATSW, that ability is back! Extract the audio signal from HDMI and transmit it to your other audio devices whether they require a separate digital or analog audio signal. Your devices, now back in your control.
