JWL (5) Solid Brass Cane Brake Washers 1" Diameter Used Between Cane Handle and Shaft
- FIVE Solid Brass Washers used between Cane Shaft and Wooden Cane Handle
- 1" Diameter 3/16" Thick with 3/8" hole through center
- Used to accentuate Cane Handle Joint between shaft and handle
- Made so a 3/8" threaded rod (or wood dowel) can pass through the center
- For the Cane maker who wants a "grain break" between handle and shaft
NOTE: Canes shown in pictures are not included in sale !! Solid Brass Washer is specially made to be used by Cane Makers who want to accentuate the Joint between the Wooden Cane Handle and the Wooden Shaft. This Washer is 1" in diameter (made for 1" cane shafts) 3/16" thick and has a 3/8" hole in the center so your connecting 3/8" threaded rod ( or wood dowel) will pass through the washer. I use these in all of the Canes I make as a "Grain Break" ....to separate the horizontal grain of the Wooden Cane Handle with the vertical grain of the Wooden Shaft. It also makes for a great "Look" and gives the Cane some Class !! See pictures for some samples of canes I have made using the Solid Brass Washer.
