Jasmine Sambac Floral Wax Organic
Sambac Floral Wax is the solid, fragrant, creamy wax derived from rose petals. Carefully selected flower heads are placed in solvent to first obtain the concrete and absolute. The concrete is then washed with alcohol to extract the absolute from the botanical material leaving behind the natural solid plant waxes. The wax holds many of the benefits of the botanical including the moisturizing phospholipids.
Wax makes a divine, exotic addition to creams, balms and lotions, and it lends thickness and a beautiful aroma. Recommended usage is up to 10%.

Jasmine wax is an aromatic substance produced by introduction of a solvent to the jasmine blossoms. To produce jasmine wax, jasmine blossoms are soaked in solvent to remove their color, fats and waxes. Once that is done, the solvent is removed, along with the spent blossoms, leaving behind an aromatic "concrete." The concrete is later treated to separate the solids from the liquids. The liquid is called jasmine "absolute," and the solid left behind after the absolute is removed from the concrete is the jasmine wax.
