Considering the dire economic circumstances under which the Haitian people find themselves it is a true mark of human imagination and resourcefulness that they carry on this artistic tradition. The Haitian artists who designed and sculpted this art piece work with the Beyond Borders organization and are well-compensated for their efforts.
