The 3.25" tapered centering spike ensures a snug fit for live trees with up to 5" trunk diameters and 8' heights, which improve safety and ease of setup. Our spike also prevents problems common in plastic tree stands, such as cracks in the water reservoir (1 quart) and water damage to floors and carpets. Our stands feature a crisp and clear design, unmatched by contemporary fabrication methods. The pattern design was handmade by artists using ball-type milling and hammering, providing a level of detail and range of shapes that can only be achieved using casting.
