The stainless steel wash basket resists dents, chips and corrosion, and won't snag your clothes while a wide-opening lid makes loading easy. Here are some tips to avoid white residue while washing. Use liquid HE detergent to the first line of the cap. If using HE powder detergent or pods make sure to add it to the tub before adding clothes to allow it to dissolve properly. Do not overload the machine. Use a cycle other than “Normal" like “Heavy Duty" or “Bulky" while avoiding “Express" when necessary. Use the “Deep Fill" option and/or the “Fabric Softener" option, if available, as these options will add more water to the cycle. Use cooler water temperatures, but not “tap cold" as detergent requires 60 degree water to dissolve. Add up to 2 extra rinses.
