This Kenmore washer's 4.2 cu. ft. capacity can handle the tough stuff, even that comforter, so you can get laundry done right at home; no more trips to the laundromat to use the jumbo washers. With 12 wash cycles, including Delicates and Express Wash, you can get the right kind of cleaning to match the load. This Kenmore washer is designed to help you get your laundry done your way. Express Wash gets a small load of laundry done in a fraction of a regular load time. Bulky Bedding and Jeans/Towels ensure that your bulkier and hardier loads get the cleaning care they need to come out fresh and clean. Choose the perfect cycle for your fabrics without the fuss. The Deep Fill feature adapts water levels to optimize washing for large, bulky loads in a single cycle, no more re-washing or wasting water. Select soil level, wash temp, water level and rinse options to further customize each load, from tough denim to delicate work shirts. The fabric softener dispenser lets you load fabric softener right from the dispensing system so you can get laundry done without any annoying extra steps. The stainless steel wash basket resists dents, chips and corrosion, and won't snag your clothes while a wide-opening lid makes loading easy. Here are some tips to avoid white residue while washing. Use liquid HE detergent to the first line of the cap. If using HE powder detergent or pods make sure to add it to the tub before adding clothes to allow it to dissolve properly. Do not overload the machine. Use a cycle other than â€œNormal" like â€œHeavy Duty" or â€œBulky" while avoiding â€œExpress" when necessary. Use the â€œDeep Fill" option and/or the â€œFabric Softener" option, if available, as these options will add more water to the cycle. Use cooler water temperatures, but not â€œtap cold" as detergent requires 60 degree water to dissolve. Add up to 2 extra rinses.
