Kentucky Impressions

Adam Jones’ new portfolio is full of early American history: Daniel Boone, Abraham Lincoln, Stephen Foster and "My old Kentucky home." But they bring us distinctly Kentuckian modern Americana as well: Col. Sanders Kentucky Fried Chicken, the National Corvette Museum, Louisville Slugger baseball, the Kentucky Derby. Surrounding all these human images is the dramatic natural beauty of the Bluegrass State, from the misty Appalachians across forested rivers valleys and gorges and down into the mysteries of Mammoth Cave.
