Remove the screw: insert the metal spike in the hole in the center of the wood base and fasten it in place from the underside with the screw. Tighten with a screwdriver. The spike should extend from the same side of the base as the 4 small pieces that hold the cheese in place. The Cheese
Cut a quarter lid from the top of the cheese. It is not necessary to remove the crust from the sides of the cheese. It will automatically fall off with the rotary motion of the blade. Even out the bottom surface of the cheese, especially in the center, so that it rests flat on the surface of the board. Hold the cheese horizontally with both hands. Force it down onto the spike, centering it on the base. Push the cheese securely into place on the four metal pins on the wood base. Finished eating When you have finished, remove the blade and put the lid back on the cheese. To avoid excessive dryness, leave the cheese on the wood board and wrap it well in aluminum foil.
