Kester 186 Liquid Soldering Flux, RMA Rosin, 2-ounce Bottle

Kester 186 is a rosin-based organic flux that is specifically designed for rework of conventional and surface mount circuit board assemblies. The low solids content and activator system results in LOW RESIDUE left on the assembly after soldering. There are no residues to interfere with electrical testing. Kester 186 flux exhibits improved soldering performance to minimize solder bridges (shorts) during rework operations. CML Supply purchases Kester 186 flux in bulk quantities from an authorized distributor and repackages this flux in smaller quantities for use in convenient dispensing bottles. This dispensing bottle is a unique tool for rework and touch-up soldering. It allows controlled application of flux, eliminating the mess from larger bottles. Dispensing tip allows for work in very confined spaces. Ideal for solar tab assembly and surface mount rework because it can deliver flux to a specific area.
