- Use this portable rotating vane mount with your Bluetooth enabled Kestrel Basic Series Meter to stream live wind and environmental data to your mobile device. Provides a simple and effective source of live, local weather data
- Compatible with the Kestrel 2700 Bluetooth enabled model and will also hold 1000, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500 Series meters
- An internal battery loop secures extra AA batteries and a snap-strap on the rear secures the kit to your belt or pack
- Drawstring pouch included
This vane mount accessory securely attaches a Bluetooth enabled Kestrel Basic Series Meter (2700) to any tripod or other Â¼-20 fitted bracket. Once mounted, the Kestrel Basic Series Meter becomes a simple and accurate source for wind and weather data for your smart phone or tablet with the 2700 Bluetooth enabled model. With a large wind vane and precision pivot, this vane mount keeps the Kestrel oriented into the wind for continuous measurement of wind speed, wind direction, and other key weather parameters.
