Aside from the exceptions noted below, kichler lighting warrants that landscape lighting products whose model numbers begin with the numbers "15" will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. the exceptions are 1) low voltage outdoor products design pro led used for single family residences for fifteen(15) years or 40,000 hours, whichever comes first, on the light engine and all other electrical components. These same products for commercial use for ten (10) years or 40,000 hours, whichever comes first, on the light engine and all other electrical components. 2) low voltage landscape lighting fixture brass, copper and stainless steel housings, and the product exterior finishes on them, for fifteen (15) years. Low voltage landscape lighting fixture housings made of brass or of copper do naturally patina in color which is not a defect. 3) low voltage landscape lighting aluminum housings, and the product exterior finishes on them, for five (5) years. 4) hid ballasts warranted for two (2) years. 5) bulbs carry no warranty. 6) painted transformers limited 10 years. 7) stainless steel transformers limited lifetime of original purchaser warranty. To replace a product that has a warranted defect, it will be necessary for the original purchaser to send f. O. B. Destination any allegedly defective parts or products to the plant designated by kichler lighting with proof of purchase, original purchaser's name, return address, and a description of the claimed product defect.
