This precision machinist square is made by Kinex Measuring who has been in the business of making quality and accurate measuring tool since 1906. This square is perfect for the professional machinist, meticulous wood worker, or the DIY perfectionist. It is made from 2 pieces of tool steel. The base and blade are riveted together with 2 pins producing a strong and invisible joint. All faces and edges are ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism. Manufactured to strict German DIN 875/1 standards and guaranteed square to within 14 microns or 0.0005 inches (that's half a thousandth of an inch). Comes in a padded box. Includes signed inspection certificate.
