Based on a story of survival of an Alaskan plane crash which left Donald and Afton Blanc and several passengers alone and abandoned on a rocky and unreachable mountaintop. With the airplane on fire, the pilot incapacitated with two broken legs, a dying copilot, a little boy, and two pregnant woman, Donald Blanc works to signal search and rescue.
