We purchased JVC cables and had our engineers examine them. Our cable uses heavier wire, and is thicker than the original factory cable.
We use 26 awg wire vs the original JVC cable that uses 28 or 30 awg wire. This cable is heavier and thicker overall.
For replacing the subwoofer cable in a JVC home theater system. Will work for all known JVC systems that use an 8 pin connector. JVC refers to it as a DIN cable, but it is actually a mini din cable as labeled by the cable industry. Most JVC systems came with either a 10 or 12 ft cable originally.
This cable is not made by JVC, it is manufactured by Kray Cables to our exacting specifications. 26 awg wire. 8 conductors with grounded drain wire, aluminum foil shielding, and a copper wire mesh wrapping the wire bundle all to eliminate EMI and RFI interference.(unwanted electrical interference)
