When applied to a rusted surface, the rust is chemically changed to iron Phosphate, an inert, hard substance that turns the metal black. This increases the paint adhesion, and durability of the coating. Easy to use; can be applied by brush, roller, mop, or low pressure sprayer. biodegradable, water-based formula is compatible with any paint system. Can be used to etch new galvanized metal.
