An integrated constant-current driver circuit senses input voltage and regulates the same stunning bright light output whether 28VDC or as low as 9VDC!! Losing your alternator, compounded with a discharged battery condition is of little concern when your destination is a dark or unlit runway. Our proprietary powder coated (impervious to the elements) high surface area aluminum alloy heat sink housing is the key to the ULTRA's ability to dissipate heat and thus emit such a stunning bright light. New housing design with aircraft standard 8-32 screw terminals guarantees a no-questions fit for ALL PAR36 aircraft light housings.
