So what do you do?
Submerge your water beads in plenty of cold water. Approx 500ml per 30 beads. You just want to always make sure there is water above the top of the beads. These will take 2 days to slowly grow. The process of watching them grow is fascinating. You will know they are done when they are a complete ball and no longer have a pinched look about them and they feel solid.
Note: Some water droplets grow up after flood damage may be an elliptical shape, rather than circular!
Beads are non toxic but of course not recommended to eat. Especially do not let a child eat when they are in the dry state.
The beads are biodegradable and eco-friendly Never flush or pour water beads down the drain as swelling could possibly clog drain pipes When finished with them you can throw them on your garden or lawn .
WARNING: Not recommended for children 0-3 ,due to choking hazard Never let children swallow un-soaked beads as they may become a blockage hazard (Keep out of reach pre and while soaking unless under supervision ) .
