Differences between IPX-7 Nano Coating Waterproof and IPX-7 Structural Waterproof

IPX-7 nano coating means the headphone is covered by IPX 7 class nano coating. Designed to be sweatproof, these products work better than IPX 5. Both work for water splash resistance. However, once sweat or water penetrate into the headphone, the earbuds' electronic components sooner or later end up becoming damaged and the headphones cannot turn on or hold a charge, which ends up muting the speakers and causing connection issue after a few months of use.

Unlike previous IPX technology, with new IPX 7 technology, all the components of the earbud are completely waterproof and therefore able to withstand complete immersion in water.
