A cork stand is needed to keep the round bottom flask upright,or heated by the water bath ,oil bath or sand bath.Comparing to the single neck round bottom flask,this 2 neck flask featured an angled neck with standard taper joint as an extra opening.
- WIDELY USED---The 2 neck round bottom flask is widely used in the organic chemistry process like distillation, reflux ,extraction,reaction etc.In a distillation apparatus,the 2 neck round bottom flask used as the distillation flask,the straight neck attaches a 3 way distillation adapter or a distillation column(in fractional distillation),the other neck can be used to connect a thermometer adapter ,bleeding tube, or additional funnel.
