This is the first of two releases comprising the Complete Harpsichord Works of Jacques Champion de ChambonniÃ¨res. This two disc set includes all the pieces from the two books of music published by ChambonniÃ¨res during his lifetime (1670) along with previously unpublished companion pieces from manuscript sources. These works are feature performances by Karen Flint on two harpsichords made by Ioannes Ruckers (1927 & 1635).
