Lind Equipment AV50AP Aviation Static Grounding Assembly, 50ft, 3/32" Plated Steel Cable, Yellow PVC Coated to 5/32" OD

This Lind Equipment AV50AP aviation grounding assembly consists of a cast aluminum hand clamp, 50' of 3/32" plated steel cable for conductivity, and a stainless steel aviation bayonet plug for secure attachment to aircraft grounding receptacles. It is suitable for grounding and bonding aircraft for dissipation of static electricity during flammable material transfer operations. The clamp has plated steel jaws for attachment to curved, unpainted grounding surfaces. The 3/32" plated steel cable is covered with a yellow PVC (polyvinyl chloride) jacket for visibility, and has an outside diameter (OD) of 5/32". The clamp end of the cable has an anti-snag wye for automatic release of the clamp when pulled by the cable, the clamp meets MIL-SPEC M83413/7-1 for grounding of aircraft, and the bayonet plug meets MIL-SPEC M83413/4-1 aircraft grounding plug specifications. This aviation grounding assembly is suitable for use with aircraft and curved, unpainted metal grounding surfaces in flammable material transfer operations.
