YARN FOR KNITTING: This yarn comes in 100% pure virgin wool options as well as wool blends. The natural lanolin oil makes it an ideal knit and crochet yarn for creating warm scarves, hats, ski-wear, fisherman sweaters, bags, and textured decor.
WARM, SOFT YARN: This yarn for crocheting is rated CYC #4 medium/worsted and features water-resistant properties that can be dyed for colorwork. Each ball weighs 8 oz./227 g (6 oz./170 g in prints) and is 465 yd./425 m long (348 yd./318 m in prints).
CHECK YOUR GAUGE: Knit stitches needed for 4" x 4" swatch: 16 sts x 22 r on #9 (5.5-millimeter) needles. Crochet stitches needed for 4" x 4" swatch: 16 sc x 16 r on H-8 (5-millimeter) hook.
GENTLE CARE: To clean items made from this delicate yarn, hand-wash them with gentle soap and water and lay them flat to dry. Do not use bleach.
