They tend to self-level and do not retain brushstrokes. Liquitex Fluid Mediums modify acrylic paints in a variety of ways and contain acrylic resins to maintain or enhance adhesion and durability. Liquitex Glazing Medium Fluid Painting Medium is ideal for creating brilliant, jewel-like glazes with acrylic artist colors. Excellent brushing and leveling qualities.Â Â Dries quickly for rapid layering.Â Â Mix with any amount of acrylic color; small quantities of color provide the most transparency.Â Â Works best with transparent or translucent colors. Formulated for maximum flexibility and adhesion, will not chip or crack on canvas.Â Â Can be applied to any material or surface that will accept traditional acrylic media, such as canvas, paper, wood, etc.Â Â Liquitex Texture Gels are lightweight, non-toxic, and dry to a water-resistant, non-yellowing surface. APPLICATION: Apply to dry, painted areas to change coloration without losing established detail. Under layer must be thoroughly dry before applying the next coat. May be dried with a hair dryer to speed drying.Â Â Mix in a small amount of color with the medium. Mix thoroughly and color will lighten.
