This tray is a permanent tray replacement (for Scoopfree dispolable cardboard cartridges), that you fill with your own crystal litter. This tray is compatible with Just the Crystals litter as well as with Scoopfree and Scoopmaid self-cleaning litter boxes. Saves $$: This tray pays for itself in just a few months use compared to purchasing pre-filled cartridges. Eco-friendly: No disposing of those large cardboard trays, just the crystal litter which breaks down into sand over time. The kit includes the "Nose Guard", which is a plastic strip that attaches to the magnets under the litter box's lid, for improved odor control. Also included is a special cleaning tool, that is precision cut to match the contours of the tray, allowing you to remove wet crystals easily, completely, and in a more sanitary way. The LitterWorks Tray is easier to clean than other permanent tray replacements because it does not have any sharp corners which can be difficult to clean. It is constructed of high-impact ABS, a plastic commonly in applications where maximum durability is required.
