PERAL MUSIC releases a live recording of another of the legendary concerts that Daniel Barenboim and Martha Argerich have given in the Teatro ColÃ³n in this case in the summer of 2015.

The program was recorded in July during the second Festival de MÃºsica y ReflexiÃ³n that Daniel Barenboim established in 2014 in his native Argentina.

Following the outstanding success of last years inaugural album, Daniel Barenboim and Martha Argerich elected to perform chamber music together in the city of their birth. On the program were works for two pianos: Debussys arrangement of Schumanns Six Studies in Canon Form, Debussys own En blanc et noir and BÃ©la BartÃ³ks Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion.

Argentine press said about the performance: One year on, the exciting encounter between the lively Martha and the masterly Daniel has once again produced magnificent and indeed fabulous results. There was magic from the first note onwards.

It was in April 2014 that Daniel Barenboim launched his own digital label, PERAL MUSIC, in association with Universal Music.

PERAL MUSIC illustrates the whole range of Barenboims activities as a conductor, pianist, chamber musician and teacher.
