One pound of locally grown nectarines, hand picked by personal food shoppers at your local farmers markets. Sweet, tangy and juicy, nectarines are a good source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and potassium. With smooth skins (unlike their fuzzy-skinned cousins, the peaches) they are a great snacking fruit. Just remember to eat those skins, since they are full of nutrients. We like to use these nectarines in canning and baking, too.
