Lodge EC6D05 Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven, 6-Quart, Gray

This Dutch oven from Lodge is not only excellent for cooking, it is also the ideal vessel to serve meals in. It can be used on all stove tops and in ovens, including induction, at temperatures below 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Not to be used in the microwave or on outdoor grills or campfires, the enamel cooking surface is FDA approved. Where the lid and pot meet, the visible black edge is a matte enamel undercoat more chip resistant than the primary color. The cast iron enamel design eliminates the need to "season" the cast iron underneath, creating a non-reactive surface perfect for all cooking techniques, as well as marinating, refrigerating or freezing. This Dutch oven is the perfect addition to any kitchen.
