Build a hydraulic powered log splitter with these detailed plans. Let''s face it, splitting firewood by hand is no fun! Let a machine do the work for you! If you heat with wood, a log splitter is a must! Put a log in, pull the lever and the wood is split! Features: Horizontal type design. Tow-behind car or tractor. Comparable to a 20 ton hydraulic log splitter. Powered by a 5HP gas engine. I-beam construction. Hydraulic oil strainer and Filter. Will split logs up to 24in. long. Size: Approx. 7 ft. long by 4 1/2 ft wide by2ft. high (to top of I-beam). Plans Include: Step by step instructions, detailed CAD drawings, 3D drawings, supplier/parts info (hydr. cylinder, valve, hoses, engine, wedge, etc.) and a hydraulic schematic. Skill Level: Requires basic to moderate mechanical ability and moderate cutting/welding skills.
