  • Industrial Silica Gel: 6 LBS of silica gel beads (3-5mm in size) stored in an air-tight sealed container with handle for easy pouring; 18 Bonus organza drawstring bags to make small desiccant packs. NOTE: These are not the fine powder type for drying flowers; Do not use them for drying flowers
  • Cobalt Chloride FREE: Our orange silica gel beads are free of cobalt chloride, non-toxic and odorless. (NOTE: Blue indicating silica gel contains a chemical compound called cobalt chloride, a heavy metal salt. )Orange indicating silica gel contains a safe organic indicator called methyl violet that changes from orange to green once saturated with water vapor
  • Big Absorption: Orange indicating beads are designed to change color within a humidity range of 20%-50%; Silica gel can absorb 40% of its weight in water vapor and 15% in the first two hours; saturated beads do not change shape or size
  • Easy To Reactivate: Silica gel can be reactivated by spreading the silica gels in a shallow metal sheet and baking at 120℃/ 250℉ oven for 30-60 mins or until all green crystals turn orange again; the recharging process may be shorter or longer depending on the amount of silica gels and saturation level
