Chinotto's Unique Aroma: A Ligurian Riviera Tradition
Slow Food Presidium Protects Chinotto's Amber Color and Citrus & Spice Scent
The myrtle-leaf orange tree, or chinotto, is a Slow Food Presidia-cultivated fruit that grows in Savona, a province along the Ligurian Riviera. Combined with Lurisia's mineral water, the sparkling soda is slightly more bitter than an orange with a tartness resembling a lime. Excellent on its own or in a cocktail, the soda pairs well with savory appetizers for an aperitivo or bold secondi for an elegant accompaniment.
