METAKAO, a highly reactive calcined kaolin, is a valuable admixture for concrete/cement applications and used as a Portland replacement. With twice the reactivity of most other pozzolans, it helps produce stronger and harder cement-based products with a faster curing process. METAKAO outpeforms traditional pozzolans such as silica fume and fly ash, has an increased resistance to chemical attack and reduces efflorescence and effects of alkali-silica reactivity.
